The Femina Miss Style Diva spoke about the music video Zara Zara and about her entering into the modelling industry accidently, while being a techie girl from Mumbai.

*So, how do you feel at the success of the song?
I’m extremely thrilled to see the response of people towards the song! It’s almost a dream come true. I am also truly grateful to the audience, AmanJi the director, and Jaan for believing in me and trusting me to be a part of this iconic song. I’m hoping I could keep doing my best to keep the fans and audience engaged.
*Did you expect that the song would go viral?
Honestly, deep inside my heart I kinda knew that the song would do good, but this response has exceeded all our expectations. And we had no clue this would go viral! I’m over the moon seeing the response!
*Tell us about your experience in working with Jaan?
Jaan, well, he’s a sweetheart! He is extremely down-to-earth and easy to work with. He’s also quite funny on the set, the most chilled person on the set I’d say. Also, he is extremely talented, I’m pretty sure he’s gonna make a big name for himself in the industry in the years to come.
*How did you land up in the world of fashion?
It was all accidental. I never considered myself “pretty”. I’m Wheatish, tall, lanky.. and in the Indian cinema, being pretty is exactly the opposite. I entered the fashion industry after winning Femina Miss Style Diva, which I had no hope of winning whatsoever! But since that happened, I haven’t really looked back and gone for it with all my heart!
*What are your future plans?
I shall be continuing with modeling. My aim is to do quality work, and not just focusing on the quantity of work. There are many brands and designers in the Indian and international market that I’m dying to work with..! So, yes… Fashion is gonna be game for quite some time 🙂
*Tell us about your family
I come from a very conservative family. However, my parents are very open-minded and have not stopped me from doing anything in life. They want me to pursue what ever I feel is best for me and have always encouraged me to try despite seeing failures. I have four siblings and they all are in the media entertainment field. My younger sister used to work for T series, the other one is Assistant Director and has worked in many leading projects in India. Also, the youngest one, Neha, 19 is also a teenage actress and has done many projects yet.
