What skills are important for a successful career in fashion designing? The biggest skill which is important for a successful career in fashion design is passion and interest. How do you stay up to date regarding fashion? Since fashion is my passion & interest I am automatically aware of what is going around but I don’t follow trends, without bothering what the trend is I myself create and style spontaneously.
