In commemoration of the National Unity Day, Manav Kalyan Society a Non-governmental organization that aims to render legal assistance by consistently creating public awareness, virtually in this digital era has immensely contributed towards health and education through its webinars in the pandemic era. Abiding by Article 71 of the United Nations Charter, Manav Kalyan Society has delivered immensely towards environmental, social, advocacy, and human rights work, promoting social and political change on a broad scale nationally and locally. Manav Kalyan Society has thus played a critical role in the developing society, promoting citizen participation with its efforts to protect human rights and end human rights abuses.
‘Big things often have humble beginnings,’ Manav Kalyan Society under the leadership of Ms.Lalitha Chaudhary hosted a grand and glorious ceremony to honor those who contributed in the webinars who addressed on various topics including right to privacy, right to information act, COVID-19 awareness, prevention and treatment, sexual harassment of women in workplace, human rights, eradication of bonded labour, female feticide, protection of children from sexual offenders, amongst many other topics in the presence of Hon’ble Shri Pradeep Chaudhary, Member of Parliament, Lok Shaba the Chief Guest and Guests of Honor, Dr. Hira Lal Raskaran, ADG Medical CAPFs, AR & NSG, Mr. Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra , Honorable Chancellor, Shobhit University, Mr. Ram Mishra, Lawyer Consultant, Supreme Court of India, Mr. Kuldip Singh Thakur, Special Resident Commissioner, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, Mr. Sushil Kumar Vimal, DNB Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Tiwari, Deputy Director, General Foreign Trade, Mr. Rajpal Solanki, Treasurer, Maharaja Surajmal Group of Institutions, Janakpuri and Former Chairman FMC Delhi Government and Mr. Anup Varshney, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Law.

In advancing women’s rights and innovation in the legal fraternity she has proven that gender does not determine leadership potential. Working collectively with other office bears, she is building a gender-balanced society.
I was most fortunate to have been bestowed with the Gaurav Sammaan Award in the presence of Hon’ble Shri. Pradeep Choudhary, Member of Parliament. It is an immense pleasure to be honored by this glorious institution, that has widely created awareness of the rights enshrined in the Constitution of India to its citizens in the most democratic manner virtually even during the pandemic era. I feel blessed being miles away.
