Indywood Film Carnival starts at Ramoji with a splurge of energy and vibe

Indywood Film Carnival, the unique Film Carnival in India kick started yesterday ( December 1st) at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The inauguration ceremony saw  many billionaires and famous celebrities from around the Globe. Sohan Roy, the Founder and Chairman of Indywood spoke about films and his vision on Indian cinema. In his speech Mr. Roy stressed on the main concept for which he started the whole project, to make 1 Dollor = 1 Rupee. He added that when we got our independence in 1947, 1 dollor was equal to 1 rupee but it had gone upto Rs.69 in the year 2013 and is getting steady now. With this event he aims to bring more investors to India and achieve the aim.

The chairman of Ramoji Film City Mr.Ramoji Rao graced the occasion and joined the guests in the lighting of the Kuthuvilakku.

The event witnessed people from Iceland welcoming filmmakers to their country for shooting and other technical works followed by Slovakian Representative of the State welcoming the makers to Slovakia as well.

The star studded event was then continued with the awards functions where Actor Jayapradha, the veteran actress, was awarded Icon of Indian Cinema Awards. Actor and Director Viswanathan was honored with the Lifetime achievement award.

The renowned builder, Rizwan Shajan, founder of Danube Homes was awarded Pravasi Ratna Award. Confident Group chairman, C J Roy was also awarded. He announced his plans to launch 8K theaters in many places across India and also spoke of his plans to open Danube homes in Hyderabad soon. Apart from him many more successful business people were awarded with the Pravasi Ratna Awards.
