International Fashion Week, Goa, to commence soon

Goa has always had the reputation of being called as luxury vacation destination of International standards. The emergence of Goa as fashion hub is still on the far steps.
With great pleasure, we announce that the 2nd edition of International Fashion Week, 2017 is rolled around by the prestigious group Wild Orchid in association with Media Waves and GV Media. This grand occasion will be held at Taj Vivanta from 12th to 14th May. The second edition will showcase talents of 20 Internationally acclaimed designers that highlights their spring and summer collection in the presence of aspiring Goan designers.
Interested buyers can use the Toch App and purchase the designs while the model walks the runway. Commenting on the presence of renowned personalities like Miss Earth 2015,Priyanka Khurana, renowned bollywood actress Rekha Rana who shall top for the designer Lalit. Samhita Vinya – the attractive charming model along with  well known Celebrity Choreographer – Dalu Krishnadas will add feathers to the event. The first designer to flaunt her designs at the curtain raiser will be Joemy Barnett. Her designs are focused on the aura that a woman creates by her presence.

With a success story in its first season itself, the promising designers namely Nick Roshan , Arundhati Vizza, Mary Fernandes, Kapil Bhantia, Elaine Fernandes, Naveen Pradeep, Mohan Godwa, Harold Andrade, Aneez Deen, Ashvini Khopal will rock the shows all three days and create a chic arena for buyers, editors and trendsetters. IFW is also an effort to give a platform to local goan talent and thereby showcase the traditional art, craft, fabric and designs of vibrant Goa.
IFW, Goa for a social cause
IFW in co-action with El Shaddai -charitable trust and Mrs Earth will be “treading the boards” for the social cause. The dress from the designers collection, worn by Mrs Earth will be auctioned, and the funds raised will be donated to cancer patients. 10 under privileged girls will walk the show in the outfits designed by students supporting ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Abhiyan’.
